"O best of the gods, this Samavakāra has been composed by me. You are worthy of hearing and witnessing it, and by doing so, you will bestow your grace upon it."
Then, on the slopes of the Himavat, amidst a variety of elephants and other creatures, in a beautiful cave near a crystal-clear waterfall, the performance was arranged.
The preliminaries were performed first, and there the great Brahmin, along with the performance of the Tripuradāha, a dramatic piece known as Ḍīma, was also initiated.
