ततो भूतगणा हृष्टाः कर्नभावानुकीर्तनात् । महादेवश्च सुप्रीतः पितामहमथाब्रवीत् ॥ ११॥
Then the groups of spirits were delighted by the recital of the actions, and Lord Mahādeva was greatly pleased. He spoke to Brahmā, saying:

tato bhUtagaNA hRSTAH karnabhAvAnukIrtanAt | mahAdevazca suprItaH pitAmahamathAbravIt || 11||

अहो नाट्यमिदं सम्यक् त्वया सृष्टं महामते । यशस्यं च शुभार्थं च पुण्यं बुद्धिविवर्धनम् ॥ १२॥
"Ah! This drama has been created perfectly by you, O great-minded one! It brings fame, auspiciousness, virtue, and enhances intelligence."
aho nATyamidaM samyak tvayA sRSTaM mahAmate | yazasyaM ca zubhArthaM ca puNyaM buddhivivardhanam || 12||

मयापीदं स्मृतं नृत्यं सन्ध्याकालेषु नृत्यता । नानाकरणसंयुक्तैरङ्गहारैर्विभूषितम् ॥ १३॥
"This dance, created by me, is performed at twilight, adorned with various ornaments and combined with different forms of action."
mayApIdaM smRtaM nRtyaM sandhyAkAleSu nRtyatA | nAnAkaraNasaMyuktairaGgahArairvibhUSitam || 13||

पूर्वरङ्गविधावस्मिंस्त्वया सम्यक्प्रयोज्यताम् । वर्धमानकयोगेषु गीतेष्वासारितेषु च ॥ १४॥
"Let the previous stage of the performance be properly used by you, with increasing energies in the songs and the accompanying movements."
pUrvaraGgavidhAvasmiMstvayA samyakprayojyatAm | vardhamAnakayogeSu gIteSvAsAriteSu ca || 14||

महागीतेषु चैवार्थान्सम्यगेवाभिनेष्यसि । यश्चायं पूर्वरङ्गस्तु त्वया शुद्धः प्रयोजितः ॥ १५॥
"You will skillfully perform the meanings in the great songs, and this previous stage, which has been purified, will be properly used by you."
mahAgIteSu caivArthAnsamyagevAbhineSyasi | yazcAyaM pUrvaraGgastu tvayA zuddhaH prayojitaH || 15||
