"There are two types of dance movements that form the foundation of dance. Using two, three, or four of these foundational movements, an Angahara (dance sequence) is formed."

english translation

By combining three movements, a Kalapaka is formed, while four create a Shandaka. Five movements together are known as a Sanghataka.

english translation

When combined with six, seven, eight, or nine movements, they are recognized as Angaharas.

english translation

I shall now explain the variations of hand and foot movements for these. The initial ones include Talapushpaputa, Vartita, and Valituru.

english translation

Apavidda, Samanakha, Leena, Swastikarechita, Mandalaswastika, and Nikuttaka are also included.
