कटीच्छिन्नं ततश्चैव भ्रमरः स तु संज्ञितः । मतल्लिकरणं कृत्वा करमावर्त्य दक्षिणम् ॥ १०६॥
The Kaṭīcchinna (waist-cut) movement is then performed, followed by the motion called Bhramara. After executing the Matalli Karaṇa, the right hand is to be turned in a circular motion.

kaTIcchinnaM tatazcaiva bhramaraH sa tu saMjJitaH । matallikaraNaM kRtvA karamAvartya dakSiNam ॥ 106॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकपोलस्य प्रदेशे तु कार्यं सम्यङ्निकुञ्चितम् अपविद्धं द्रुतं चैव तलसंस्फोटसंयुतम् ॥ २०७॥
The hand should be properly bent near the region of the cheek, then swiftly thrown outward, accompanied by the motion called Talasaṃsphoṭa.

kapolasya pradeze tu kAryaM samyaGnikuJcitam apaviddhaM drutaM caiva talasaMsphoTasaMyutam ॥ 207॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकरिहस्तं कटिच्छिन्नं मत्तस्खलितके भवेत् । दोलैः करैः प्रचलितैः स्वस्तिकापसृतैः पदैः ॥ २०८॥
The waist should be cut off like the trunk of an elephant. The hands should be in an unsteady motion, and the feet should be placed in the Svastika posture.

karihastaM kaTicchinnaM mattaskhalitake bhavet । dolaiH karaiH pracalitaiH svastikApasRtaiH padaiH ॥ 208॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअञ्चितैर्वलितैर्हस्तैस्तलसङ्घट्टितैस्तथा । निकुट्टितं च कर्तव्यमूरूद्वृतं तथैव च ॥ २०९॥
The hands should be made with a swinging motion and in a curved shape, then the hand should be brought together in a clasping motion. The Nikuttaka should also be performed, followed by the raised thighs (Ūrūdvṛtta).
