ekazca saMzayo'smAkaM taM no vyAkhyAtumarhasi | ko vAnyo nATyavedasya nizcayaM vaktumarhati || 8||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptन वयं परिहासेन न विरोधेन न चेर्ष्यया । पृच्छामो भगवन् नाट्यमुपदेशार्थमेव तु ॥ ९॥

We are not asking out of jest, rivalry, or envy. O Lord, we ask only to understand the teachings of drama.
