शौचं कृत्वा यतो मन्त्रं पूजनं जर्जरस्य तु । उच्यते पूर्वरङ्गेऽस्मिन् तस्माच्छौचं प्रकीर्तितम् ॥ ३१॥
sanskrit
After performing purification, the mantra and worship are recited, even by the elderly. This is what is said about the former stage of the performance (Purvaranga), and therefore, purity is declared.

zaucaM kRtvA yato mantraM pUjanaM jarjarasya tu | ucyate pUrvaraGge'smin tasmAcchaucaM prakIrtitam || 31||

Just as the drama is elevated on the earth, all of it must be spoken as it is; it is not possible to conceal any part of it.
