स्तुतिगीतादिसंसृष्टैर्देवैरभिहितोऽस्म्यहम् । नितरां परितुष्टाः स्मः प्रयोगेणामुना च ते ॥ २१॥
I have been thoroughly pleased by the gods, who have spoken through the praise, songs, and other rituals performed, and they were greatly delighted with the procedure I followed.
english translation
stutigItAdisaMsRSTairdevairabhihito'smyaham । nitarAM parituSTAH smaH prayogeNAmunA ca te ॥ 21॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवतासुरमानन्द्य यस्माँल्लोकश्च नन्दति । तस्मादयं प्रयोगस्तु नान्दीनामा भविष्यति ॥ २२॥
The performance, which delights both gods and demons and brings joy to the world, will henceforth be called Nāndī (Benediction).
english translation
devatAsuramAnandya yasmA~llokazca nandati । tasmAdayaM prayogastu nAndInAmA bhaviSyati ॥ 22॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगीतवाद्यानुनादो हि यत्र काकुस्वनः शुभः । तस्मिन् देशे विपाप्मानो माङ्गल्यं च भविष्यति ॥ २३॥
Where there is the auspicious sound of songs, musical instruments, and resonating tones, in that place, all evils will disappear, and prosperity will arise.
english translation
gItavAdyAnunAdo hi yatra kAkusvanaH zubhaH । tasmin deze vipApmAno mAGgalyaM ca bhaviSyati ॥ 23॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयावत्तं पूरयेद्देशं ध्वनिर्नाट्यसमाश्रयः । न स्थास्यन्ति हि रक्षांसि तं देशं न विनायकाः ॥ २४॥
As long as the sound of drama fills the land, Rakshasas and obstacles will not stay in that place, nor will the Vighnas (obstacles) exist.
english translation
yAvattaM pUrayeddezaM dhvanirnATyasamAzrayaH । na sthAsyanti hi rakSAMsi taM dezaM na vinAyakAH ॥ 24॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआवाहे च विवाहे च यज्ञे नृपतिमङ्गले । नान्दीशब्दमुपश्रुत्य हिंस्रा नश्यन्ति चैव हि ॥ २५॥
In ceremonies such as invitations, weddings, and sacrifices, upon hearing the auspicious Nandi sound, harmful or destructive forces are dispelled.

AvAhe ca vivAhe ca yajJe nRpatimaGgale । nAndIzabdamupazrutya hiMsrA nazyanti caiva hi ॥ 25॥
