The first Dhruvā is known as Prāveśikī, the second is remembered as Ākṣepikī, the third is Prāsādikī, the fourth is Antarā Dhruvā, and the fifth, used in the conclusion of the action, is to be known as Naiṣkrāmikī. I shall explain these along with their metres and rhythmic structures. That Gāndharva which I have described as consisting of notes (svara), time-measure (tāla), and words (pada), its structural basis is called Pada, for it reflects the notes and the tāla.
