शक्वर्याश्चाति कृत्याश्च येऽन्तरे चावसानिकी । तेषां मात्रार्धविहिता ध्रुवा पादमया स्मृता ॥ २१॥
When the Śakvarī or Atikṛtyā (metres) are used for the concluding section, the Dhruvā composed of pādas is to be arranged with half the number of mātrās of those (metres).

zakvaryAzcAti kRtyAzca ye'ntare cAvasAnikI । teSAM mAtrArdhavihitA dhruvA pAdamayA smRtA ॥ 21॥

The foot of the concluding Dhruvā should be composed of long and short syllables according to the rules of Yati, metre, and measurement in mātrās.

For superior and middling characters, the concluding Dhruvā should be in Caturasra metre, and for the inferior characters, it should be in Tryasra metre.

madhyamottamayoH kAryA caturazrAvasAnikI । madhyAdhamAnAM kartavyA tr! yazrA caivAvasAnikI ॥ 23॥

When a Pada is complete and full of meaning, the Vṛtta should be applied in the Prāveśikī Dhruvā; in accordance with the proper measure, the Dhruvā should be composed accordingly.
