प्रस्वारो माषघातश्च माहाजनिकमेव च । प्रवेणी ह्युपपातश्च अड्डितायामथापि च ॥ ११॥
Prasvāra, Māṣaghāta, Mahājanika, Praveṇī, and Upapāta are the limbs found in the Aḍḍitā Dhruvā.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptमुखप्रतिमुखोपेता ह्यवकृष्टा विधीयते । वैहायसान्ताहरणे स्थितायां सम्प्रकीर्त्यते ॥ १२॥
The Avakṛṣṭā Dhruvā is defined as having the Mukha and Pratimukha; and in the Sthitā Dhruvā are included the Vaihāyasa and the Antāharaṇa.

mukhapratimukhopetA hyavakRSTA vidhIyate । vaihAyasAntAharaNe sthitAyAM samprakIrtyate ॥ 12॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसंहारश्चतुरश्रश्च नकुटे खञ्जके तथा । सन्धिः प्रस्वारसंयुक्ता अन्तरायां स्मृता तथा ॥ १३॥
Saṃhāra and Caturasra belong to the Khañja and Nakuṭa types; and Sandhi together with Prasvāra is regarded as belonging to the Antarā Dhruvā.

The limbs and the measures that are included within songs are to be represented in the Dhruvās through metres corresponding to them.

The Tāla used in a Dhruvā should be Tryaśra or Caturasra, consisting of six or eight Kalās respectively, as has been stated earlier.
