एककं विवधो वापि तस्याङ्गं समुदाहृतम् । अन्यस्य चतुरस्रस्य प्रवृत्तो यो विधिः स्मृतः ॥ २८१॥
Its limb is said to be either Ekaka or Vivadha, and the rule prescribed for the beginning of the final Caturasra should be followed here as well.

ekakaM vivadho vApi tasyAGgaM samudAhRtam । anyasya caturasrasya pravRtto yo vidhiH smRtaH ॥ 281॥

By means of that same limb of Vivadha, the Caturasraka is to be performed. The Saṃpiṣṭaka is said to be of two kinds—Sandhivat and Vajratāla.

The Saṃpiṣṭaka consisting of seven limbs should have twelve Kalās, and that with twelve limbs should also be made the same way. Beginning with the Niṣkrāma, three Śamyās are to be applied.

saptAGgaM dvAdazakalaM dvAdazAGge tathaiva ca । niSkrAmamAditaH kRtvA zamyAstisraH prayojayet ॥ 283॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतालत्रयं ततश्चैव शम्यातालौ ततः परम् । शम्यातालौ ततः कार्यौ सन्निपातोऽन्त्य एव च ॥ २८४॥
The three kinds of Tala are first mentioned; after them come the Samyatalas; then again two kinds of Samyatalas are described, and finally the Sannipata.
