तुवेणके तु सप्ताङ्गे सम्पिष्टकमिदं स्मृतम् । द्विशम्यातालयोगेन द्वादषाङ्गेऽपि चेष्यते ॥ २८५॥

In the Oveṇaka of seven limbs the Sampishṭaka is mentioned; by means of the union of two Śamyā–Tālas it should also be employed in the twelve-limbed case.

english translation

tuveNake tu saptAGge sampiSTakamidaM smRtam । dvizamyAtAlayogena dvAdaSAGge'pi ceSyate ॥ 285॥
