पूर्वं विशाला कर्तव्या सङ्गता तदनन्तरम् । सङ्गतायां ग्रहं कृत्वा विशाला पुनरिष्यते ॥ १४१॥
First, Viśālā should be performed, followed by Saṃgatā. After taking the Graha (beginning note) in Saṃgatā, Viśālā is to be performed again.

pUrvaM vizAlA kartavyA saGgatA tadanantaram । saGgatAyAM grahaM kRtvA vizAlA punariSyate ॥ 141॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकनिष्ठासारिते तालो यो यथा परिकीर्तितः । स एव सर्वः कर्तव्यः प्रथमे कण्डिकोद्भवे ॥ १४२॥
The Tāla that has been prescribed for the short Āsārita is to be entirely observed at the beginning of the first Kaṇḍikā.

Sunandā, Saṃgatā, and Viśālā are to be performed as described. After taking the Graha (starting point) in Sunandā, one should then apply it accordingly.
