पूर्वं विशाला कर्तव्या सङ्गता तदनन्तरम् । सङ्गतायां ग्रहं कृत्वा विशाला पुनरिष्यते ॥ १४१॥
First, Viśālā should be performed, followed by Saṃgatā. After taking the Graha (beginning note) in Saṃgatā, Viśālā is to be performed again.
english translation
pUrvaM vizAlA kartavyA saGgatA tadanantaram । saGgatAyAM grahaM kRtvA vizAlA punariSyate ॥ 141॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकनिष्ठासारिते तालो यो यथा परिकीर्तितः । स एव सर्वः कर्तव्यः प्रथमे कण्डिकोद्भवे ॥ १४२॥
The Tāla that has been prescribed for the short Āsārita is to be entirely observed at the beginning of the first Kaṇḍikā.
english translation
kaniSThAsArite tAlo yo yathA parikIrtitaH । sa eva sarvaH kartavyaH prathame kaNDikodbhave ॥ 142॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुनन्दा सङ्गता चैव विशाला च यथोदिता । सुनन्दायां ग्रहं कृत्वा ततश्चैव प्रयोजयेत् ॥ १४३॥
Sunandā, Saṃgatā, and Viśālā are to be performed as described. After taking the Graha (starting point) in Sunandā, one should then apply it accordingly.

sunandA saGgatA caiva vizAlA ca yathoditA । sunandAyAM grahaM kRtvA tatazcaiva prayojayet ॥ 143॥

In the medium Āsārita, the Tāla as prescribed by me is to be observed in the three Śamyās by the experts, beginning with Sunandā and the following limbs.

madhyamAsArite tAlo yo mayA parikIrtitaH । zamyAstrayasya kartavyaH sunandAdyasya paNDitaiH ॥ 144॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुमुखी च सुनन्दा च सङ्गतप्रथमा तथा । सुमुख्यादौ ग्रहं कृत्वा यथोक्तं सम्प्रयोजयेत् ॥ १४५॥
The Sumukhī and Sunandā, as well as the first Saṃgatā, should be performed in order. At the beginning of the Sumukhī, one should establish the Graha and then apply it as prescribed.
