कार्याः षोडश युग्माख्ये ताले तु प्रथमे गणाः । चतुर्विंशतिरोजाख्ये द्वितीये वसुसञ्ज्ञिते ॥ चतुर्विंशतिरर्धं च तृतीये वसुसञ्ज्ञिके । ज्येष्ठेष्वासारिते कार्य एवमक्षरसञ्चयः ॥ १०७॥

There should be first the Cañcatpuṭaḥ (= yugma) Tāla of sixteen gaṇas, next the Cāpapuṭaḥ (oja) Tāla of twenty-four gaṇas, and in the third there should be twenty-four gaṇas and a half. These is the arrangement of syllables in the long Āsārita.

kAryAH SoDaza yugmAkhye tAle tu prathame gaNAH । caturviMzatirojAkhye dvitIye vasusaJjJite ॥ caturviMzatirardhaM ca tRtIye vasusaJjJike । jyeSTheSvAsArite kArya evamakSarasaJcayaH ॥ 107॥
