जर्जरं पूजयित्वैअवं बलिं सर्वं निविद्य च । अग्नौ होमं ततः कुर्यान्मन्त्राहुइतिपुरस्कृतम् ॥ ८२॥
Having worshiped the debilitated one and offered all the oblations, One should perform the fire sacrifice, preceded by the recitation of mantras, With proper rituals, invoking the fire and other deities.
english translation
jarjaraM pUjayitvaiavaM baliM sarvaM nividya ca । agnau homaM tataH kuryAnmantrAhuitipuraskRtam ॥ 82॥
