आतोद्यानि तु सर्वाणि वासोभिरवगुण्ठयेत् । गन्धैर्माल्यैश्च धूपैश्च भक्ष्यभोजैश्च पूजयेत् ॥ ७६॥

Then, all the offerings should be covered with garments, And the gods should be worshipped with fragrances, garlands, incense, Along with food and drink suitable for the occasion.

सर्वमेवं विधिं कृत्वा गन्धमाल्यानुलेपनैः । विघ्नजर्जरणार्थं तु जर्जरं त्वभिमन्त्रयेत् ॥ ७७॥

Having followed all these procedures, with fragrances, garlands, and anointments, One should then chant the appropriate mantras to remove obstacles and restore vitality.

अत्र विघ्नविनाशार्थं पितामहमुखैस्सुरैः । निर्मितस्त्वं महावीर्यो वज्रसारो महातनुः ॥ ७८॥

Here, for the destruction of obstacles, with the gods led by Pitāmaha, You have been created, O mighty hero, of the essence of thunderbolt, of great stature.

शिरस्ते रक्षतु ब्रह्मा सर्वैर्देवगुणैअः तह । द्वितीयं च हरः पर्व तृतीयं च जनार्दनः ॥ ७९॥

May Brahmā, with all divine qualities, protect your head. May Śiva, the second, protect the shoulders, and may Janār-dana, the third, protect your arms.

May Kumāra, the fourth, protect your heart, And may the supreme serpent, the fifth, protect your navel. May all the gods continually protect you, and may Śiva be with you for the welfare of all.
