अनेनैव विधानेन सम्पूज्या मत्तवारणी । पक्वामेन तु मांसेन सम्पूज्या रक्षसां गणाः ॥ ४१॥

सुरामांसप्रदानेअन दानवान्प्रतिपूजयेत् । शेषान्देवगणांस्तज्ज्ञः सापूपोत्कारिकौदनैः ॥ ४२॥

He should offer the meat and liquor to the demons and then honor the remaining gods with cakes, sweetmeats, and rice dishes.

मत्स्यैश्च पिष्टभक्ष्यैश्च सागरान्सरितस्तथा । सम्पूज्य वरुणं चापि दातव्यं घृतपायसम् ॥ ४३॥

With fish, ground food, and those from rivers and seas, one should honor Varuṇa by offering ghee and Pāyasa.

matsyaizca piSTabhakSyaizca sAgarAnsaritastathA | sampUjya varuNaM cApi dAtavyaM ghRtapAyasam || 43||

One should honor the sages with various flowers and fruits, and offer different kinds of food to the winds and birds.

One should honor the mothers of the performance along with Dhannada and his attendants, with cakes mixed with flour and various edible offerings.
