Various colors should be given, and the offerings should be pleasing to the elements. Iron should be placed beneath the pillars, along with kush grass.
Food offerings, including a sufficient amount of food, should be given to the Brahmins. In this manner, the rituals and honors should be performed for the elephant (mattavārṇī).
The stage (rṅga-pīṭha) should then be constructed according to the prescribed ritual actions. The stage's head (rṅga-śīrṣa) must be made, adorned with six wooden pillars.
Here, two doors must be constructed for the stage, and the backstage (nepathya-gṛha) should be included. The floor should be made of black clay, prepared with effort.
The earth should be lifted with a plow, and the dust-free sand and grass should be used. The plow, with its clean color, should be carefully placed in its proper position.
