अर्धच्छिन्ने भवेत्सूत्रे स्वामिनो मरणं ध्रुवम् । त्रिभागच्छिन्नया रज्वा राष्ट्रकोपो विधीयते ॥ २९॥
If the thread is severed halfway, the master’s death is certain. If the thread is cut into three parts, it is considered a sign of the wrath of the ruler.
english translation
ardhacchinne bhavetsUtre svAmino maraNaM dhruvam । tribhAgacchinnayA rajvA rASTrakopo vidhIyate ॥ 29॥
