तथा पिशितहस्तश्च रौद्रो नेपथ्यजस्तु सः । बहुबाहुर्बहुमुखो नानाप्रहरणाकुलः ॥ ५१॥
And the Terrible (Roudra) of the backstage type has hands smeared with filth, Many arms, many heads, and is armed with various kinds of weapons.
english translation
tathA pizitahastazca raudro nepathyajastu saH । bahubAhurbahumukho nAnApraharaNAkulaH ॥ 51॥

The Terrible (Roudra) of the bodily type is described as having a stout body, with prominent limbs, red eyes, reddish hair, a dark (ashen) complexion, and a distorted voice.

This natural (swabhavaja) Terrible (Roudra) is rough and unyielding, with feet lifted and placed down at intervals of four Tālas.

rUkSo nirbhartsanaparo raudraH so'yaM svabhAvajaH । catustAlAntarotkSiptaiH pAdaistvantarapAtitaiH ॥ 53॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगतिरेवं प्रकर्तव्या तेषां ये चापि तद्विधाः । अहृद्या तु मही यत्र श्मशानरणकश्मला ॥ ५४॥
Thus should be performed the gait of those ॥ terrible beings॥, and also those of similar kinds; but where the ground is heartless— like a cremation ground, a desert, or a filthy place.

gatirevaM prakartavyA teSAM ye cApi tadvidhAH । ahRdyA tu mahI yatra zmazAnaraNakazmalA ॥ 54॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगतिं तत्र प्रयुञ्जीत बीभत्साभिनयं प्रति । क्वचिदासन्नपतितैः विकृष्टपतितैः क्वचित् ॥ ५५॥
In that (sentiment), the gait should be employed with repulsive acting, sometimes with near stumbling, sometimes with awkward falling.
