अपक्रान्तः पुनर्वाम आद्यः पार्श्वगतो भवेत् । वामसूचीं पुनर्दद्यात् त्रिकञ्च परिवर्तयेत् ॥ १६॥

The Apakrānta (sideward movement) should be performed again to the left, followed by the initial (Ādya) Pārśvagata (sideward movement). Then, perform the Vāmāsūcī (left needle-like movement) and complete the Trika (circular turn).
