त्र्यश्रौ पक्षःस्थितौ चैव कटिजानू समौ तथा । धनुर्वज्रासिशस्त्राणि मण्डलेन प्रयोजयेत् ॥ ६६॥
The feet should be obliquely placed in a triangular position, with the waist and knees kept natural. Weapons such as the bow, thunderbolt, and sword should be used with the Maṇḍala posture.
english translation
tryazrau pakSaHsthitau caiva kaTijAnU samau tathA । dhanurvajrAsizastrANi maNDalena prayojayet ॥ 66॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवाहनं कुञ्जराणां तु स्थूलपक्षिनिरूपणम् । अस्यैव दक्षिणं पादं पञ्च तालान् प्रसार्य तु ॥ ६७॥
This posture is used for riding elephants and mimicking large birds. Extending the right foot five Tālas forward produces the Ālīḍha stance.

vAhanaM kuJjarANAM tu sthUlapakSinirUpaNam । asyaiva dakSiNaM pAdaM paJca tAlAn prasArya tu ॥ 67॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआलीढं स्थानकं कुर्याद् रुद्रश्चात्राधिदैवतम् । अनेन कार्यं स्थानेन वीररौद्रकृतं तु यत् ॥ ६८॥
This Ālīḍha posture is associated with Rudra as its presiding deity. It should be used in actions related to the Heroic (Vīra) and the Furious (Raudra) Sentiments.

AlIDhaM sthAnakaM kuryAd rudrazcAtrAdhidaivatam । anena kAryaM sthAnena vIraraudrakRtaM tu yat ॥ 68॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउत्तरोत्तरसञ्जल्पो रोषामर्षकृतस्तु यः । मल्लानाञ्चैव सम्फेटः शत्रूणां च निरूपणम् ॥ ६९॥
This posture is also to be used in increasing verbal exchanges, born of anger and indignation, in wrestling combats, and in the depiction of enemies.

uttarottarasaJjalpo roSAmarSakRtastu yaH । mallAnAJcaiva sampheTaH zatrUNAM ca nirUpaNam ॥ 69॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतथाभिद्रवणं चैव शस्त्राणां चैव मोक्षणम् । कुञ्चितं दक्षिणं कृत्वा वामं पादं प्रसार्य च ॥ ७०॥
It is also to be used in charging forward and in the release of weapons. By bending the right foot and extending the left, the Pratyālīḍha stance is formed.
