पार्श्वे च रङ्गपीठस्य महेन्द्रः स्थितवान्स्वयम् । स्थापिता मत्तवारण्यां विद्युद्दैत्यनिषूदनी ॥ ९०॥
On the side of the stage, Mahendra himself stood. A great elephant, resembling a forest, was placed there, symbolizing the goddess of lightning, the slayer of demons.
