Manusmriti
आपद्गतोऽथ वा वृद्धा गर्भिणी बाल एव वा । परिभाषणमर्हन्ति तच्च शोध्यमिति स्थितिः ॥ २८३ ॥
But a person in urgent necessity, an aged man, a pregnant woman, or a child, shall be reprimanded and clean the (place); that is a settled rule.
english translation
Apadgato'tha vA vRddhA garbhiNI bAla eva vA । paribhASaNamarhanti tacca zodhyamiti sthitiH ॥ 283 ॥
