मृदु वै मन्यते पापॊ भाष्य माणम अशक्तिजम जितम अर्थं विजानीयाद अबुधॊ मार्दवे सति ॥ ५-४-६ ॥
‘If a gentle course is adopted towards him, that fool will only believe he has already won. Therefore, let us act without delay—let us make our preparations at once and send word to our allies to gather an army on our behalf.’ ॥ 5-4-6 ॥
