पुण्याश च गन्धाः शब्दाश च तस्यां पार्थ समन्ततः दिव्यानि माल्यानि च ताम उपतिष्ठन्ति सर्वशः ॥ २-८-३६ ॥

'And, O son of Pritha, exquisite fragrances, melodious sounds, and garlands of celestial flowers incessantly enrich that mansion with supreme blessings.' ॥ 2-8-36 ॥

english translation

puNyAza ca gandhAH zabdAza ca tasyAM pArtha samantataH divyAni mAlyAni ca tAma upatiSThanti sarvazaH ॥ 2-8-36 ॥

शतं शतसहस्राणि धर्मिणां तं परजेश्वरम उपासते महात्मानं रूपयुक्ता मनस्विनः ॥ २-८-३७ ॥

'And hundreds of thousands of virtuous individuals, adorned with celestial beauty and great wisdom.' ॥ 2-8-37 ॥

zataM zatasahasrANi dharmiNAM taM parajezvarama upAsate mahAtmAnaM rUpayuktA manasvinaH ॥ 2-8-37 ॥

ईदृशी सा सभा राजन पितृराज्ञॊ महात्मनः वरुणस्यापि वक्ष्यामि सभां पुष्कर मालिनीम ॥ २-८-३८ ॥

'They always attend to and worship the illustrious Yama, the lord of all beings, in that assembly hall. Such, O monarch, is the Sabha of the illustrious king of the Pitris! Now, I shall describe the assembly hall of Varuna, also known as Pushkaramalini.' ॥ 2-8-38 ॥

IdRzI sA sabhA rAjana pitRrAjJò mahAtmanaH varuNasyApi vakSyAmi sabhAM puSkara mAlinIma ॥ 2-8-38 ॥
