जवाला वर्णॊ देवदत्तॊ धनुष्मान कवची शरी मर्त्यधर्मतया तस्माद इति मां भयम आविशत ॥ २-७१-४० ॥
'Dhrishtadyumna, who is the Pandavas' brother-in-law by marriage and dear to them, causes me great concern. Born of divine origin and radiant like fire, he came into the world with a bow, arrows, and armor. Being mortal, I am deeply afraid of him.' ॥ 2-71-40 ॥

javAlA varNò devadattò dhanuSmAna kavacI zarI martyadharmatayA tasmAda iti mAM bhayama Avizata ॥ 2-71-40 ॥
