इत्य उक्त्वा दिवम आक्रम्य कषिप्रम अन्तरधीयत बराह्मीं शरियं सुविपुलां बिभ्रद देवर्षिसत्तमः ।। २-७१-३१ ।।

sanskrit

'And having said this, that best of celestial Rishis, adorned with surpassing Vedic grace, passing through the skies, disappeared from the scene.' ।। 2-71-31 ।।

english translation

itya uktvA divama Akramya kaSiprama antaradhIyata barAhmIM zariyaM suvipulAM bibhrada devarSisattamaH || 2-71-31 ||

'The Brahmanas have declared that the Pandavas, being of divine origin, are invincible. However, the sons of Dhritarashtra, along with all the kings, have earnestly sought my protection with great reverence.' ।। 2-71-34 ।।

avadhyAna pANDavAna Ahura devaputrAna davijAtayaH ahaM tu zaraNaM parAptAna vartamAnò yathAbalama || 2-71-34 ||
