ऐन्द्रे जये धृतमना याम्ये कॊपविधारणे विसर्गे चैव कौबेरे वारुणे चैव संयमे ॥ २-६९-१६ ॥
'Therefore, resolve with determination to achieve victory like Indra; to control your anger like Yama; to give generously like Kubera; and to master your passions like Varuna.' ॥ 2-69-16 ॥
english translation
आत्मप्रदानं सौम्य तवम अद्भ्यश चैवॊपजीवनम भूमेः कषमा च तेजॊ च समग्रं सूर्यमण्डलात ॥ २-६९-१७ ॥
'O Bharata, seek to obtain the ability to bring joy like the moon, the power to sustain like water, forbearance like the earth, energy from the sun, strength from the winds, and abundance from the other elements.' ॥ 2-69-17 ॥

वायॊर बलं विद्धि स तवं भूतेभ्यश चात्मसंभवम अगदं वॊ ऽसतु भद्रं वॊ दरक्ष्यामि पुनरागतान ॥ २-६९-१८ ॥
'Understand that strength comes from the wind, and that all beings are born from the elements. May there be prosperity for you. I shall ensure that those who return to you will see you again.' ॥ 2-69-18 ॥

आपद धर्मार्थकृच्छ्रेषु सर्वकार्येषु वा पुनः यथावत परतिपद्येथाः काले काले युधिष्ठिर ॥ २-६९-१९ ॥
'O Yudhishthira, conduct yourself properly and diligently in all situations—during times of distress and difficulty, and in every circumstance.' ॥ 2-69-19 ॥

आपृष्टॊ ऽसीह कौन्तेय सवस्ति पराप्नुहि भारत कृतार्थं सवस्तिमन्तं तवां दरक्ष्यामः पुनरागतम ॥ २-६९-२० ॥
'With our blessings, depart now. O Bharata, may success and well-being attend you. No one can claim you have acted sinfully before. We hope to see you return safely and triumphant.' ॥ 2-69-20 ॥
