संवादे परुषाण्य आहुर युधिष्ठिर नराधमाः परत्याहुर मध्यमास तव एतान उक्ताः परुषम उत्तरम ।। २-६५-७ ।।

sanskrit

'Those who are virtuous remember only the good deeds of their foes, not the hostile acts committed against them. Moreover, the good-hearted perform acts of kindness without expecting anything in return. O Yudhishthira, only those of the lowest character resort to harsh words in disputes.' ।। 2-65-7 ।।

english translation

saMvAde paruSANya Ahura yudhiSThira narAdhamAH paratyAhura madhyamAsa tava etAna uktAH paruSama uttarama || 2-65-7 ||
