sanskrit

'In an assembly where a truly reprehensible act is not rebuked, half the demerit of that act falls upon the head of the assembly, a quarter on the wrongdoer, and a quarter on the other members present. Conversely, in an assembly where the person deserving of censure is properly rebuked, the head of the assembly is absolved of all blame, and the other members incur no fault. Only the perpetrator of the act remains responsible for it.' ।। 2-61-71 ।।
