[व] तथा तान दुःखितान दृष्ट्वा पाण्डवान धृतराष्ट्रजः कलिश्यमानां च पाञ्चालीं विकर्ण इदम अब्रवीत ।। २-६१-११ ।।

'Vaisampayana continued, "Seeing the Pandavas in such distress and the princess of Panchala equally tormented, Vikarna, the son of Dhritarashtra, spoke up."' ।। 2-61-11 ।।

english translation

[va] tathA tAna duHkhitAna dRSTvA pANDavAna dhRtarASTrajaH kalizyamAnAM ca pAJcAlIM vikarNa idama abravIta || 2-61-11 ||

'O kings, please answer the question posed by Yajnaseni. If we fail to address this matter, we will all surely be condemned to hell without delay.' ।। 2-61-12 ।।
