[व] तथा बरुवन्तीं करुणं रुदन्तीम; अवेक्षमाणाम असकृत पतींस तान दुःशासनः परुषाण्य अप्रियाणि; वाक्यान्य उवाचामधुराणि चैव ॥ २-६०-४६ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, 'Unto Krishna who was thus weeping and crying piteously, looking at times upon her helpless lord, Dussasana spoke many disagreeable and harsh words.' ॥ 2-60-46 ॥

तां कृष्यमाणां च रजस्वलां च; सरस्तॊत्तरीयाम अतदर्हमाणाम वृकॊदरः परेक्ष्य युधिष्ठिरं च; चकार कॊपं परमार्तरूपः ॥ २-६०-४७ ॥
'Seeing her, in her season and with her upper garments loosened, being dragged in such an undeserved condition, Vrikodara, overwhelmed by unbearable grief and fury, looked at Yudhishthira and gave way to his rage.' ॥ 2-60-47 ॥
