वयं तु सत्पथं तेषां यातुम इच्छामहे परभॊ न तु शक्यं तथा गन्तुं यथा तैर नियतात्मभिः ॥ २-६-४ ॥

sanskrit

'O revered one, we aspire to tread the virtuous path of those rulers who also possessed a complete mastery over their souls.' ॥ 2-6-4 ॥

english translation

vayaM tu satpathaM teSAM yAtuma icchAmahe parabhò na tu zakyaM tathA gantuM yathA taira niyatAtmabhiH ॥ 2-6-4 ॥
