दुर्यॊधनॊ गलहते पाण्डवेन; परियायसे तवं जयतीति तच च अतिनर्माज जायते संप्रहारॊ; यतॊ विनाशः समुपैति पुंसाम ॥ २-५६-५ ॥
'Duryodhana, while gambling with the sons of Pandu, is reveling in his apparent success. However, such triumphs lead to conflict, which ultimately results in the destruction of men.' ॥ 2-56-5 ॥

duryòdhanò galahate pANDavena; pariyAyase tavaM jayatIti taca ca atinarmAja jAyate saMprahArò; yatò vinAzaH samupaiti puMsAma ॥ 2-56-5 ॥
