[विदुर] महाराज विजानीहि यत तवां वक्ष्यामि तच छृणु मुमूर्षॊर औषधम इव न रॊचेतापि ते शरुतम ॥ २-५५-१ ॥
'Vaiśampāyana said, "During this gambling session, which is destined to bring about Yudhishthira's ruin, Vidura, the dispeller of doubts, addressed Dhritarashtra: 'O great king of the Bharata race, listen to what I have to say. Though my words may not be pleasing, like medicine to a dying patient, they are essential for your understanding.'"' ॥ 2-55-1 ॥

[vidura] mahArAja vijAnIhi yata tavAM vakSyAmi taca chRNu mumUrSòra auSadhama iva na ròcetApi te zarutama ॥ 2-55-1 ॥
