'Yudhishthira said, "I have a hundred thousand serving-girls, all youthful and adorned with armlets and bracelets. They are decorated with golden ornaments and precious gems."' ।। 2-54-12 ।।
'They are adorned with priceless garlands and jewelry, dressed in fine garments, and anointed with sandalwood. All of them wear precious gems and golden ornaments, and are clad in delicate, luxurious attire.' ।। 2-54-13 ।।
'Yudhishthira said, "I have skilled and graceful dancers who excel in their art, serving and entertaining under my command. This wealth, O King, I stake against you!"' ।। 2-54-14 ।।
'Vaiśampāyana continued, "Hearing this, Shakuni, prepared with the dice and employing deceitful tactics, said to Yudhishthira, 'Behold, I have won!'"' ।। 2-54-15 ।।
