तम आगतम ऋषिं दृष्ट्वा नारदं सर्वधर्मवित सहसा पाण्डवश्रेष्ठः परत्युत्थायानुजैः सह अभ्यवादयत परीत्या विनयावनतस तदा ॥ २-५-४ ॥
'The Brahmana, upon his arrival, offered blessings and wished Yudhishthira victory. Seeing the learned sage, Yudhishthira, knowledgeable in all the rules of duty, promptly stood up along with his younger brothers. With deep humility and a cheerful heart, the king respectfully greeted the sage and ceremoniously provided him with a suitable seat.' ॥ 2-5-4 ॥
