कच चिद अन्धांश च मूकांश च पङ्गून वयङ्गान अबान्धवान पितेव पासि धर्मज्ञ तथा परव्रजितान अपि ।। २-५-११३ ।।
'Given your thorough understanding of every duty, do you, like a compassionate father, support the blind, the mute, the crippled, the disfigured, the destitute, and wandering ascetics?' ।। 2-5-113 ।।
'These are the words of the virtuous king, Yudhishthira, the chief of the Kurus. Having listened to the discourse of the illustrious Brahmana, Narada, he joyfully bowed down and respectfully greeted him, saying:' ।। 2-5-114 ।।
एवं करिष्यामि यथा तवयॊक्तं; परज्ञा हि मे भूय एवाभिवृद्धा उक्त्वा तथा चैव चकार राजा; लेभे महीं सागरमेखलां च ।। २-५-११५ ।।
'Pleased with all he heard, the monarch addressed Narada, whose form was celestial, saying, "I shall heed your counsel, for your wisdom has enriched my understanding!" With these words, the king followed Narada's guidance, eventually acquiring dominion over the entire Earth, encompassed by its girdle of seas.' ।। 2-5-115 ।।
