दाक्षिणात्यः संनहनं सरग उष्णीषे च मागधः वसु दानॊ महेष्वासॊ गजेन्द्रं षष्टिहायनम ॥ २-४९-७ ॥
'The king of the Southern region stood ready with a coat of mail; the ruler of Magadha brought garlands of flowers and a splendid headgear; the great warrior Vasudana provided an elephant of sixty years' age; and the king of Matsya contributed the side-fittings of the chariot.' ॥ 2-49-7 ॥

dAkSiNAtyaH saMnahanaM saraga uSNISe ca mAgadhaH vasu dAnò maheSvAsò gajendraM SaSTihAyanama ॥ 2-49-7 ॥
