एते चान्ये च बहवॊ गणा दिग्भ्यः समागताः अन्यैश चॊपाहृतान्य अत्र रत्नानीह महात्मभिः ॥ २-४८-२१ ॥
'O king, these and many others, coming from various regions, and numberless other illustrious kings, brought jewels and gems unto this sacrifice.' ॥ 2-48-21 ॥
english translation
राजा चित्ररथॊ नाम गन्धर्वॊ वासवानुगः शतानि चत्वार्य अददद धयानां वातरंहसाम ॥ २-४८-२२ ॥
'And Chitraratha, also the king of Gandharvas, the friend of Indra, gave four hundred horses gifted with the speed of the wind.' ॥ 2-48-22 ॥
english translation
तुम्बुरुस तु परमुदितॊ गन्धर्वॊ वाजिनां शतम आम्रपत्र सवर्णानाम अददद धेममालिनाम ॥ २-४८-२३ ॥
'And the Gandharva Tumvuru gladly gave a hundred horses of the color of mango leaf and decked in gold.' ॥ 2-48-23 ॥

कृती तु राजा कौरव्य शूकराणां विशां पते अददद गजरत्नानां शतानि सुबहून्य अपि ॥ २-४८-२४ ॥
'And, O descendant of the Kuru lineage, the renowned king of the Mlechcha tribe known as the Sukaras presented many hundreds of splendid elephants.' ॥ 2-48-24 ॥

विराटेन तु मत्स्येन बल्यर्थं हेममालिनाम कुञ्जराणां सहस्रे दवे मत्तानां समुपाहृते ॥ २-४८-२५ ॥
'Additionally, Virata, the king of Matsya, offered as tribute two thousand elephants adorned with gold.' ॥ 2-48-25 ॥
