सपत्नान ऋध्यत आत्मानं हीयमानं निशाम्य च अदृश्याम अपि कौन्तेये सथितां पश्यन्न इवॊद्यताम तस्माद अहं विवर्णश च दीनश च हरिणः कृशः ।। २-४५-१६ ।।
'Even though the foe's affluence is not directly before me, its sight fills my mind with distress, making me feel as if I see it constantly. Thus, I have become pale, melancholic, and emaciated.' ।। 2-45-16 ।।
