[ष] दुर्यॊधन न ते ऽमर्षः कार्यः परति युधिष्ठिरम भागधेयानि हि सवानि पाण्डवा भुञ्जते सदा ।। २-४४-१ ।।
'Sakuni said, 'O Duryodhana, you should not harbor jealousy towards Yudhishthira. The sons of Pandu are simply enjoying the fruits of their good fortune and rightful share.'' ।। 2-44-1 ।।
तैर लब्धा दरौपदी भार्या दरुपदश च सुतैः सह सहायः पृथिवी लाभे वासुदेवश च वीर्यवान ।। २-४४-३ ।।
'They have secured Draupadi as their wife, Drupada with his sons, and Vasudeva of great prowess as allies—each capable of aiding them in subjugating the entire world.' ।। 2-44-3 ।।
लब्धश च नाभिभूतॊ ऽरथः पित्र्यॊ ऽंशः पृथिवीपते विवृद्धस तेजसा तेषां तत्र का परिदेवना ।। २-४४-४ ।।
'O king, having inherited their paternal share of the kingdom without losing it, they have flourished through their efforts and strength.' ।। 2-44-4 ।।
'What is there to be sorrowful about? Having pleased the divine forces, Dhananjaya has obtained the Gandiva bow, along with two inexhaustible quivers and numerous divine weapons.' ।। 2-44-5 ।।
