तत्राहूतागताः सर्वे सुनीथ परमुखा गणाः संप्रादृश्यन्त संक्रुद्धा विवर्णवदनास तथा ।। २-३६-८ ।।

sanskrit

'Shishupala then incited the assembled kings, asking, 'Shall we stand united and fight against the Vrishnis and the Pandavas?' Stirred by his words, the ruler of the Chedis and the other kings began to discuss ways to hinder the completion of the sacrifice. All the invited monarchs, led by Shishupala, appeared angry and their faces turned pale.' ।। 2-36-8 ।।

english translation

tatrAhUtAgatAH sarve sunItha paramukhA gaNAH saMprAdRzyanta saMkruddhA vivarNavadanAsa tathA || 2-36-8 ||
