कलीबे दारक्रिया यादृग अन्धे वा रूपदर्शनम अराज्ञॊ राजवत पूजा तथा ते मधुसूदन ॥ २-३४-२१ ॥
'Indeed, O slayer of Madhu (Krishna), as a wife is to one without virile power, and as a fine show is to one who is blind, so is this royal worship to you, who is not a king.' ॥ 2-34-21 ॥
english translation
दृष्टॊ युधिष्ठिरॊ राजा दृष्टॊ भीष्मश च यादृशः वासुदेवॊ ऽपय अयं दृष्टः सर्वम एतद यथातथम ॥ २-३४-२२ ॥
'What Yudhishthira is has been seen; what Bhishma is has been seen; and what Vasudeva (Krishna) is has been seen. Indeed, all these have been seen as they truly are!' ॥ 2-34-22 ॥
english translation
इत्य उक्त्वा शिशुपालस तान उत्थाय परमासनात निर्ययौ सदसस तस्मात सहितॊ राजभिस तदा ॥ २-३४-२३ ॥
'Having spoken thus, Shishupala rose from his exalted seat and left the assembly, accompanied by the kings at that time.' ॥ 2-34-23 ॥
