अथ चिन्तां समापेदे स मुनिर मनुजाधिप नारदस तं तदा पश्यन सर्वक्षत्रसमागमम ॥ २-३३-११ ॥
'As he beheld the vast assembly of Kshatriyas, the sage Narada became contemplative.' ॥ 2-33-11 ॥
english translation
atha cintAM samApede sa munira manujAdhipa nAradasa taM tadA pazyana sarvakSatrasamAgamama ॥ 2-33-11 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसस्मार च पुरावृत्तां कथां तां भरतर्षभ अंशावतरणे यासौ बरह्मणॊ भवने ऽभवत ॥ २-३३-१२ ॥
'He began to recall the ancient teachings he had heard in Brahma’s abode about the divine incarnations on earth, where portions of each deity manifest.' ॥ 2-33-12 ॥
english translation
sasmAra ca purAvRttAM kathAM tAM bharatarSabha aMzAvataraNe yAsau barahmaNò bhavane 'bhavata ॥ 2-33-12 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेवानां संगमं तं तु विज्ञाय कुरुनन्दन नारदः पुण्डरीकाक्षं सस्मार मनसा हरिम ॥ २-३३-१३ ॥
'And knowing, O son of the Kuru race, that that was a concourse (of incarnate) gods, Narada thought in his mind of Hari with eyes like lotus-petals.' ॥ 2-33-13 ॥
english translation
devAnAM saMgamaM taM tu vijJAya kurunandana nAradaH puNDarIkAkSaM sasmAra manasA harima ॥ 2-33-13 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसाक्षात स विबुधारिघ्नः कषत्रे नारायणॊ विभुः परतिज्ञां पालयन धीमाञ जातः परपुरंजयः ॥ २-३३-१४ ॥
'He knew that Narayana, the supreme creator of all, exalted above all deities, who had previously commanded the celestials, 'Descend to Earth, engage in conflict, and then return to Heaven,' and who is the slayer of all divine enemies and conqueror of hostile realms, had taken birth in the Kshatriya order to fulfill his promise.' ॥ 2-33-14 ॥

sAkSAta sa vibudhArighnaH kaSatre nArAyaNò vibhuH paratijJAM pAlayana dhImAJa jAtaH parapuraMjayaH ॥ 2-33-14 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसंदिदेश पुरा यॊ ऽसौ विबुधान भूतकृत सवयम अन्यॊन्यम अभिनिघ्नन्तः पुनर लॊकान अवाप्स्यथ ॥ २-३३-१५ ॥
'And Narada understood that the exalted and holy Narayana, also known as Sambhu, the supreme lord of the universe, who had previously commanded all the celestials to engage in conflict on Earth and then return to heaven.' ॥ 2-33-15 ॥

saMdideza purA yò 'sau vibudhAna bhUtakRta savayama anyònyama abhinighnantaH punara lòkAna avApsyatha ॥ 2-33-15 ॥
