'He began to recall the ancient teachings he had heard in Brahma’s abode about the divine incarnations on earth, where portions of each deity manifest.' ।। 2-33-12 ।।
'And knowing, O son of the Kuru race, that that was a concourse (of incarnate) gods, Narada thought in his mind of Hari with eyes like lotus-petals.' ।। 2-33-13 ।।
'He knew that Narayana, the supreme creator of all, exalted above all deities, who had previously commanded the celestials, 'Descend to Earth, engage in conflict, and then return to Heaven,' and who is the slayer of all divine enemies and conqueror of hostile realms, had taken birth in the Kshatriya order to fulfill his promise.' ।। 2-33-14 ।।
'And Narada understood that the exalted and holy Narayana, also known as Sambhu, the supreme lord of the universe, who had previously commanded all the celestials to engage in conflict on Earth and then return to heaven.' ।। 2-33-15 ।।
