तत्र मेधाविनः के चिद अर्थम अन्यैः परपूरितम विचिक्षिपुर यथा शयेना नभॊगतम इवामिषम ॥ २-३३-६ ॥
'Others, endowed with great intelligence, adeptly seized upon the positions argued by others, like hawks swooping down on prey.' ॥ 2-33-6 ॥

के चिद धर्मार्थसंयुक्ताः कथास तत्र महाव्रताः रेमिरे कथयन्तश च सर्ववेदविदां वराः ॥ २-३३-७ ॥
'Meanwhile, some scholars, well-versed in religious texts and committed to rigorous vows, engaged in pleasant and insightful discussions, drawing on their deep knowledge of commentaries and interpretations.' ॥ 2-33-7 ॥

सा वेदिर वेदसंपन्नैर देवद्विज महर्षिभिः आबभासे समाकीर्णा नक्षत्रैर दयौर इवामला ॥ २-३३-८ ॥
'And, O king, that platform, crowded with gods, Brahmanas, and great Rishis, appeared exceedingly magnificent, resembling the vast firmament adorned with stars.' ॥ 2-33-8 ॥

न तस्यां समिधौ शूद्रः कश चिद आसीन न चाव्रतः अन्तर वेद्यां तदा राजन युधिष्ठिर निवेशने ॥ २-३३-९ ॥
'O monarch, at that time, there was no presence of Sudras near Yudhishthira’s platform, nor was there anyone without vows.' ॥ 2-33-9 ॥

तां तु लक्ष्मीवतॊ लक्ष्मीं तदा यज्ञविधानजाम तुतॊष नारदः पश्यन धर्मराजस्य धीमतः ॥ २-३३-१० ॥
'Seeing that prosperity born of the sacrificial rites, Of the prosperous and wise Dharmaraja, Narada was pleased.' ॥ 2-33-10 ॥
