सवकॊशस्य परीमाणं कॊष्ठस्य च महीपतिः विज्ञाय राजा कौन्तेयॊ यज्ञायैव मनॊ दधे ॥ २-३०-८ ॥
'Observing the state of his treasury and the extent of his possessions, the son of Kunti resolved to perform a great sacrifice.' ॥ 2-30-8 ॥
