स दीक्षापय गॊविन्द तवम आत्मानं महाभुज तवयीष्टवति दाशार्ह विपाप्मा भविता हय अहम ॥ २-३०-२१ ॥
'Therefore, O Govinda, please grace the sacrifice with your presence. If you perform it, I shall be absolved of all sins.' ॥ 2-30-21 ॥
english translation
sa dIkSApaya gòvinda tavama AtmAnaM mahAbhuja tavayISTavati dAzArha vipApmA bhavitA haya ahama ॥ 2-30-21 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमां वाप्य अभ्यनुजानीहि सहैभिर अनुजैर विभॊ अनुज्ञातस तवया कृष्ण पराप्नुयां करतुम उत्तमम ॥ २-३०-२२ ॥
'If you perform it, I shall be absolved of all sins. Alternatively, O exalted one, if you allow me to conduct the sacrifice with the presence of my younger brothers, I shall, by your grace, reap the full rewards of an excellent sacrifice.' ॥ 2-30-22 ॥

mAM vApya abhyanujAnIhi sahaibhira anujaira vibhò anujJAtasa tavayA kRSNa parApnuyAM karatuma uttamama ॥ 2-30-22 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतं कृष्णः परत्युवाचेदं बहूक्त्वा गुणविस्तरम तवम एव राजशार्दूल सम्राड अर्हॊ महाक्रतुम संप्राप्नुहि तवया पराप्ते कृतकृत्यास ततॊ वयम ॥ २-३०-२३ ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, “Krishna, having praised Yudhishthira’s virtues, spoke thus: ‘O foremost of kings, you alone are worthy of imperial dignity. Therefore, let this great sacrifice be performed by you. If you accomplish this sacrifice and reap its fruits, we will all consider ourselves successful.' ॥ 2-30-23 ॥

taM kRSNaH paratyuvAcedaM bahUktvA guNavistarama tavama eva rAjazArdUla samrADa arhò mahAkratuma saMprApnuhi tavayA parApte kRtakRtyAsa tatò vayama ॥ 2-30-23 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयजस्वाभीप्सितं यज्ञं मयि शरेयस्य अवस्थिते नियुङ्क्ष्व चापि मां कृत्ये सर्वं कर्तास्मि ते वचः ॥ २-३०-२४ ॥
'Krishna continued, “Perform the sacrifice you desire, and engage me in any role you see fit for that purpose, for I shall follow all your commands.”' ॥ 2-30-24 ॥

yajasvAbhIpsitaM yajJaM mayi zareyasya avasthite niyuGkSva cApi mAM kRtye sarvaM kartAsmi te vacaH ॥ 2-30-24 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscript[य] सफलः कृष्ण संकल्पः सिद्धिश च नियता मम यस्य मे तवं हृषीकेशयथेप्सितम उपस्थितः ॥ २-३०-२५ ॥
'Yudhishthira replied, “O Krishna, my resolve is already fulfilled, and success is assured, now that you, O Harishikesa, have arrived here by my wish!”' ॥ 2-30-25 ॥
