एकपादांश च पुरुषान केवलान वनवासिनः नगरीं संजयन्तीं च पिच्छण्डं करहाटकम दूतैर एव वशे चक्रे करं चैनान अदापयत ॥ २-२८-४७ ॥
'The high-souled warrior, having subdued King Timingila, also conquered the one-legged forest-dwelling tribe known as the Kerakas. The son of Pandu further subdued the town of Sanjayanti, and the regions of Pashanda and Karahataka through his messengers alone, compelling all of them to pay tribute.' ॥ 2-28-47 ॥
